Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has revealed what he told an angry Red Devils fan who confronted him after his side’s Champions League second-leg 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.

After Atletico Madrid eliminated Man United from the Champions League, Rashford says he told the heckler, “Come up here and say it to my face.

“Recall that Renan Lodi’s header helped Atletico Madrid qualify for the Champions League last eight ahead of Manchester United.
In camera footage, Rashford replies to one fan and turns to face the crowd before being led back to the team bus by security.
While explaining the incident, the England star acknowledges that “passion got the better of him.”
On Twitter, Rashford stated, “A video can paint a thousand words, and in this case, lead to erroneous information being circulated on social media.”
“Guys, I’ve been yelled at, intimidated, and probed for weeks, and my emotions finally got the best of me last night.”
